The Dissenyar Connexions [Designing Connections] project is the development of an immersive and technological theatre experience that blurs the lines between science and the arts. Turning each visitor into a protagonist, the creation invites reflection on matter. It imagines how the ability of particles to exist in multiple places at once might help us design a more collective and sustainable future.

This is an interactive re-interpretation of the museum pieces that comes to life in dialogue with the audience. The “Matter Matters. Designing with the World” exhibition at DHub proposes a deep reflection on the relevance of matter in design and our responsibility in the use of materials. Matter is not just a functional element of design; it must also be considered within its environmental, social, and historical context.

Companyia Pagans encourages us to think of technology not as an enemy or a complement, but as a tool to be used as a key part of shows, sparking discussion about our values, the generation of information, how to construct narratives, and our capacity for communication.

The driving force behind this project is Companyia Pagans, made up of Núria Clemares (playwright, actress, and storyteller) and Marc Fernández (creator and technologist). They focus on creating shows that combine technology and environmental awareness. They participated in the 2023 Grec Festival with El valor de res [The Value of Nothing].

The creative factories and Barcelona's museums once again lead a shared experience. A series of museum and heritage spaces in the city become a stage for the residents of the city's artistic creation centers, who engage in dialogue through their proposals with the artistic, historical, or ethnographic collections preserved in each space.
