Social Rights

Nobody can be left behind in Barcelona. We want a fair society, where people get the services, support and care they need and which they’re entitled to. That means investing in education and childhood, with over a hundred nursery schools; in health, with a new municipal dentistry service, and in care for the elderly, with a local and personalised home care service. At the same time, when it comes to energy poverty, utility services have been prevented from being cut off in 16,500 cases in the last two years. On housing, over 2,300 families at risk of losing their homes received help in 2017.
