The City Police have designed a specific operation together with the Mossos d’Esquadra police corps to increase preventive surveillance in areas around hotels, leisure areas and restaurants in the city.

Extra metro and FGC rail services will also be laid on during the congress to handle the increase in demand and make travel more agile for congress-goers. The taxi service will also be boosted in the city.

Journeys by the various delegations can generate more traffic, which is why people are strongly advised to use public transport to get around the city on the days of the MWC.
