Use of municipal spaces granted for the flu vaccination campaign

The City Council and the Government of Catalonia have agreed on the temporary loan of 45 municipal spaces in the city’s primary healthcare centres (CAP) to facilitate this year’s vaccination campaign. The Catalan Health Service (CatSalut) will cover the related costs.

The 45 facilities are located around the whole city and include community centres, centres for the elderly etc. Use of the spaces is for three months, which may be extended, and is regulated by a framework agreement specifying that CatSalut will cover the costs for conditioning and maintaining the spaces.

Given the current context of Covid-19, the goal of this agreement between the two institutions is for primary healthcare services to have enough space to maintain their daily activity with full guarantees. The use of further facilities will be granted if needed.
