The municipal investment at this facility amounts to 4,609,762.5 euros, plus the space at the facility which is being provided by the City Council for the construction of this three-floor education centre: the ground floor, with 1,690,21 m2, and two other floors of 1,471,94 m2 and 1,384,49 m2 respectively.

The Institute of Sports will have two classrooms, a multi-purpose hall, changing rooms, a dining-room and a kitchen, two communal spaces, offices and eighteen workshop rooms. The current façade will be remodelled and become transparent, to facilitate lighting and ventilation at the facility.

Execution of work in two stages

Work on the ground floor and the first floor should be completed during the 2022-2023 season. Once completed, part of the activity of the centre can be moved into the new facilities. The second stage should be carried out during the 2023-2024 season, enabling the institute to complete its definitive move to the new premises.
