Minimum services for strike action on the metro on 20 MayMetro services will be affected on Monday 20 May, the fourth day of action called by the TMB strike committee. At peak periods (7 to 9.30 am and 4 to 6 pm) the established minimum services mean 40% of trains will be operating, compared to 20% during the last part of the day. Normal service levels will be operating the rest of the day.
- During rush hours, from 7 am to 9.30 am and from 4 to 6 pm, 40% of regular services.
- From 9.35 pm to 11.35 pm, 20% of regular services.
Given the disruption to the service, users are recommended to seek alternative ways of getting around the city.
The strike action also affects the Montjuïc cable car, which will be opening shorter hours, from 11 am to 3.15 pm, and the Monjuïc funicular, which will be operating the same percentages of services as the metro line during strike hours. From 7.30 am to 9.30 am and from 4 pm to 6 pm the funicular will run every 25 minutes.
Strike action has also been called on the metro system for 24 May.
