Rough sea warning
Given the increase in the height of waves at sea in the last few hours and the weather forecast, the City Council activated the warning stage of the municipal basic emergency plan for rough seas on Friday 27 November.
Citizens are recommended to take extra care and not to access the beaches. Access to groynes and bathing are forbidden while the red flag is in place.
The warning stage of the plan is activated when there is an alert for rough seas and there is more than a 30% possibility of waves of over 2.5 metres, representing a danger for people and potential damage to urban furniture.
