The bus-on-demand service reaches the southern section of Torre Baró and Vallbona
The city’s bus-on-demand service starts operating in the southern section of Torre Baró and Vallbona with a six-month pilot project. Operating under the name of El meu Bus Torre Baró Sud - Vallbona Sud, the service replaces the current 180 bus route in Nou Barris.
The new bus-on-demand system has 34 stops around Vallbona Sud, Ciutat Meridiana, Torre Baró and Trinitat Nova. In contrast to regular bus services, users can notify in advance the time and location they want to be picked up at, as well as which stop they will be getting off at.
Book El meu Bus with an app or by phone
Users of El meu Bus should download the free mobile app (available in the iOS and Android stores) and register to be able to request the bus. Once registered, they can book journeys by indicating the bus-stop number where they will be getting on. Journeys should be booked at least ten minutes in advance. It is also possible to book by calling the freephone number 900 927 575.
The ElMeuBus app also allows users to cancel bookings very simply, check journeys made, mark favourite stops, receive warnings of changes in services or check waiting times for requested buses to arrive.
