The Barcelona Metropolitan Transport (TMB) metro and buses closed the year with an aggregate growth in demand of 2.1%, which is equivalent to 12.6 million more journeys than in the previous year. As far as tickets are concerned, ATM integrated tickets still account for more than 75% of all tickets in the Barcelona area public transport network. Over this last year, the slight fall in the use of multi-journey tickets, such as the T-10 or T-50/30 cards, has continued to increase, while season and concession tickets, such as the T-mes and T-jove cards, have risen and now account for a total of 27% of all annual tickets in the integrated fare system.
