Candidates had to present a project setting out a master plan for the management of the Museu del Disseny. The projects were assessed in a process supported by an advisory commission made up of the critic and history of art professor, Miquel Molins, the museologist Marta Montmany, the editor Ramon Prat (ACTAR), the cultural researcher Jaron Rowan, the lighting designer and scenographer Martia Güell and the architect and communicator Núria Moliner.

De Vicente’s project was valued for defining a strategic framework backing new formats and platforms, with the added value of innovation and experimentation, positioning it very well in the current and international context and taking into account various collectives and community organisations. The project was also recognised for being consistent with the present while taking on the challenges of the future.
