The budget for the work is 1,145,392 euros. The project includes improvements to 3,099 square metres of road surface, with some demolition tasks and the introduction of new signage and bollards.

The new bus lane sections are:

• Gran Via, between Passeig de Gràcia and Carrer de Pau Claris.
• Passeig de Sant Joan, between Carrer del Rosselló and Carrer de Còrsega.
• Av. Diagonal, sections 1, 2 and 3 of the side lane.
• Carrer de Mallorca, between Carrer de Lepant and Carrer de Padilla.
• Carrer del Rosselló, between Carrer de Girona and Carrer de Bruc.
• Carrer de Sepúlveda, between Carrer de Muntaner and Carrer de Casanova.

Work starts in September and should take four months.

The work comes in addition to improvements in the bus network in recent months, such as the segregation of eleven sections, the introduction of new sections of bus lane and changes to the access points for the Estació del Nord and the Sant Andreu Arenal bus stations.
