Every month, decidim.barcelona will open a window for the public to send in their questions, followed by an announcement of the date when the mayor will go online for a live session. During this hour-long session, the mayor will answer the questions that have received the most votes live on the platform, where the session will also be streamed.

Only residents registered in Barcelona with a verified profile on the decidim.barcelona platform can take part in this initiative. There are two ways to participate: you can either send your own question to the mayor, or show your support for questions submitted by other participants. Any questions that aren’t answered live will still be followed up by the municipal teams.

103 questions were submitted in the first session, held on 20 October, along with over 160 comments.
