The call has two types of project categories, grouped into three programmes: “Cooperation for global justice” (3.36 million euros); “Cooperation for global justice in specific cities” (2.52 million euros), and “Education for global justice” (3.09 million euros). Each organisation can submit up to three projects.

The main change to this year’s call is the introduction of a new category within the education programme, supporting annual awareness programmes for global justice in the city of Barcelona.

All of the subsidies are based around the four dimensions that cooperation for global justice is aimed at: environmental justice, economic justice, gender justice (carrying the same weight in the evaluation of proposals) and social justice. Projects will also be prioritised according to the geographical zones set out in the Master Plan.
