The measure includes a hundred specific actions by the ICUB and other municipal bodies, as well as numerous groups and organisations, all of which share the goals of boosting culture in the neighbourhoods and its link with community action.

The goals of the measure are to:

• Develop projects adapted to each territory
• Recognise, support and promote community cultural practices
• Promote territorial projects with a city impact
• Promote city programmes with the impact of decentralising major cultural events in Barcelona

Areas of action include the rollout of the Plan for Community Centres 2021-2023, the EQUICOM programme (local facilities as drivers for community action), the Conexions programme (with the framework of ‘Ampliem espais’), the consolidation, strengthening and extension of the ‘Cultura Viva’ programme, the promotion of the cultural strategy for the Neighbourhood Plan, the promotion of community artistic creation and more.
