Boost for the Municipal Second Chance School with more places and support

The centre will now have 90 students in all, with a new support centre at the Espai Jove les Basses, in Nou Barris, to complement the existing school in Sant Andreu. Over 75% of young people who have pursued education and training on this programme since 2019 have returned to their studies, started a labour insertion project or found work.

The service helps young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who have dropped out of school, pursued further education unsuccessfully or are in vulnerable situations.

Guidance and training

The school runs a two-year programme providing support for users to define a life project and choose studies or a working path which best suits their needs.

It also designs a personal plan, strengthens basic skills and provides training.

Full information is available on the website for the Municipal Second Chance School.
