Award ceremony of the Barcelona Prize to the Innovative Business in Reconciliation and Time 2017

During the ceremony, Dra.Estrella Montolío Duran, Professor of Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Barcelona and expert in communication with a gender perspective, will present a conference on communication in companies and organizations.

The ceremony for the sixth edition of the Barcelona Prize for the Innovative Business in Reconciliation and Time will take place on March 19, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hall of Cent of the City Council and will be chaired by the First Lieutenant of Mayor, Gerardo Pisarello.

In the sixth edition, there have been a total of 26 companies and organizations that opt ​​for the different modalities of the prize: companies with less than 10 workers, between 10 and 50, between 51 and 250 and more than 250. Special mentions are also given to companies and organizations that are part of the NUST Network (New Social Uses of Time).

The jury, consisting of 13 representatives of the different sectors (local, business, trade union, university, cooperative and social administration), deliberated last December and this year highlighted the high level of best practices in conciliation and time of all the companies and organizations that have been presented.

Among the proposals presented, the jury has been able to see how the conciliation measures are being implemented in many different economic sectors and by organizations with very different legal forms, which makes clear the extension of conciliation measures within of companies and organizations.
