New general director for the MWC Barcelona Foundation

Coinciding with its tenth anniversary, the latest meeting by the public-private body confirmed Francesc Fajula as its new general director. Fajula will take on the position in the coming weeks and replace Carlos Grau, who the foundation thanked for his work over the last few years.

Pioneer in the digital industry

Francesc Fajula’s professional career has seen him occupy roles in companies such as Terra (Grup Telefónica), Banesto, Grup Santander, Banc Sabadell and Dominion Global. He is one of the pioneers in the digital industry and was the director of e-commerce with Terra. He was also the director of Innovation and Digital Strategy for Grup Santander, where his notable achievements include the creation of entrepreneurial programmes and a business accelerator in San Francisco.

We was also the director of Digital Transformation and Innovation with Banc Sabadell, and in his latest position he was the general director of Financial Service with Dominion Global.
