Twenty-four support points open to help with the Covid-19 vaccination campaign

Some 44.6% of people over the age of 15 have now received their first jab against Covid-19, a percentage which rises to over 90% among the over-70s. Even so, the vaccination programme is progressing more slowly in six city districts, partly due to the digital barrier when it comes to requesting appointments online. Because of this, 24 support points have been set up to help people book appointments in the neighbourhoods where vaccination rates are lower.

The 24 support points to help people get vaccination appointments are located in municipal facilities such as community centres, libraries and homes for the elderly in districts with lower percentages of vaccinated people. The campaign is moving slower in the districts of Ciutat Vella, Sants-Montjuïc, Horta-Guinardó, Nou Barris, Sant Andreu and Sant Martí.
