Disruptions to mobility due to the 2025 Montjuïc-Tibidabo Race
The race will begin at the Montjuïc Castle esplanade and end at Oreneta Park. Disruptions are anticipated between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and the metro is recommended as an alternative for travel near race zones.
During the race, which will start at Montjuïc Castle and run through some of the city’s most iconic streets before finishing on the other side of the city, at Oreneta Park, vehicle traffic will be prohibited on all roads along the race route:
Calle del Castillo (up to the Montjuïc road junction) – Calle del Castillo (opposite direction) – Passeig Migdia – Tarongers (opposite direction) – Avda. Miramar – Avda. Estadi – Plaça Sant Jordi – Avda. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia – Avda. Rius i Taulet – Lleida – Tamarit – Entença – Déu i Mata (opposite direction) – Constança – Illa Diagonal underpass – Caravel·la La Niña – Avda. Sarrià – Plaça Prat de la Riba – Passeig Sant Joan Bosco (Besòs side) – Plaça Artós – Major de Sarrià – General Vives – Can Caralleu – Gaspar Cassadó – Oreneta Park.
Traffic will be redirected and lanes subdivided near race areas, with mobility restored gradually as runners progress along the route.
Public transport
The following bus lines may be diverted or have their routes shortened: D20, D40, H2, H4, H6, H8, H10, H12, H16, V3, V7, X2, X3, 6, 13, 27, 34, 46, 54, 55, 59, 65, 68, 78, 109, 111, 118, 125, 128, 130 and 150.
Metro: Passengers can get off at Paral·lel station (L2/L3) and transfer to the special bus which runs on the funicular route. Metro and funicular timetables are available here.
