New Ernest Lluch L5 metro station now open
The station connects with various urban and inter-urban bus services and the Trambaix system, improving connectivity between Barcelona and the Baix Llobregat area.
The opening of the new station also coincides with the prolongation of the H8 bus route, from Carretera de Collblanc to Camí de la Torre Melina, which will now have a stop at the new L5 station.
The new Ernest Lluch station, located between the stops of Collblanc and Pubilla Cases and connecting with the tram system, means that the Line 5 metro service now has 27 stations.
