The ‘Open Streets’ initiative in Gran de Gràcia has been cancelled for the weekend of 20 and 21 February.The streets of Creu Coberta-Sants will be closed to traffic as usual, with the road reserved for pedestrians on Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm but this Sunday ends earlier and is closed to traffic from 9 am to 4 pm.

Closing these streets to traffic turns them into spaces for people to use for walking and recreation. It also helps local commerce and makes it easier for people to respect physical distances. The goal of the initiative is to achieve a safer, healthier and more human city.
