Second edition of the Barcelona Innovation Awards
The second edition of the Barcelona Innovation Awards highlights the talent and creativity of traditional companies and start-ups with pioneering solutions that contribute to the progress of the city and the development of the business and technology network. Candidacies can be put forward until 14 May 2025.
There are four award categories:
- Disruptive Innovation: for projects that introduce significant changes in their sector through new technologies and processes.
- Sustainability: for initiatives that foster environmental sustainability and the circular economy.
- Social innovation or impact: for projects that address important social issues and drive community development.
- 22@ Innovation: for innovative solutions that boost the 22@ ecosystem and strengthen collaboration between its stakeholders.
The selected projects will have to give a presentation before the jury, who will assess criteria such as the feasibility, impact, creativity and scaleability of the projects.
The winners of the Barcelona Innovation Awards 2025 will be announced on 12 June 2025, on 22@ Innovation Day, an event that also marks 25 years of the district.
