The run is on Sunday 3 April, from 8 am to 1 pm approximately. During the Half Marathon, vehicles will not be allowed to circulate in the streets making up the route.

The start and finish line are in the same location, in Passeig de Pujades, between Roger de Flor and Wellington. Runners will take the following route: down Passeig de Picasso to Avinguda del Marquès de l’Argentera, onto Pla de Palau, Passeig d’Isabel II and Passeig de Colom, Plaça del Portal de la Pau, Passeig de Josep Carner and Plaça de les Drassanes. From there the route heads up Avinguda del Paral·lel as far as Entença and then onto Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes as far as Bailèn and Ronda de Sant Pere. After that it’s into Passeig de Lluís Companys and the streets of Buenaventura Muñoz, Pallars, La Llacuna, Perú and Josep Pla. The runners then return to Gran Via as far as Rambla de Prim, turning into Avinguda Diagonal, turning round at Espronceda and heading back along Avinguda Diagonal in the direction of the Besòs as far as Plaça de Llevant and Passeig de Taulat. From there it’s into Passeig de Garcia Fària, Passeig de Calvell and La Jonquera before getting to Avinguda del Litoral. For there the route goes into the streets of Arquitecte Sert and Salvador Espriu, passing through Plaça dels Voluntaris and going into Marina as far as Passeig de Pujades, where the finish line is.

Disruptions to mobility

Passeig de Pujades will be closed to traffic from 4 am (including the bike lane), between Wellington and Lluís Companys, heading towards the Besòs. As from 5 am, the closure will be extended as far as Passeig de Picasso. As from 7.45 am, possibly before that depending on the volume of runners gathered, the allocated warm-up spaces will be closed to traffic and runners can use them before getting onto the starting grid. Traffic circulation should be restored at 3 pm.

Traffic circulation will progressively be restricted around the route as the event goes on, and re-established once the runners have passed through. In terms of parking, from 9 pm on 1 April until 12.30 pm on 3 April, parking will be prohibited (including motorbikes) in all streets around the route. Temporary signage has been installed to indicate this prohibition, and notifications distributed to inform people of disruptions for local residents, car parks and affected organisations.

Any vehicles which remain parked in these streets, despite the signage and the measures adopted, will be immobilised to prevent them being used during the run.

Public transport

Bikes at Bicing stations around the route will be out of service during the Half Marathon.

Various bus services will also be affected between 8.30 am and 12 noon approximately. TMB recommends using the metro during this time period for journeys involving the streets in the route, particularly in the area delimited by Gran Via and the seafront

The T4 Trambesòs service will also be disrupted but should be fully re-established from 12.20 pm.
