While the state of alert for Covid-19 is in force, you can carry on contacting the Barcelona infoJOVE points, youth advisory services, Adolescents and Families Service and Youth Associations Resources Centre remotely.

As part of the measures adopted to keep the expansion of Covid-19 in check, municipal services and facilities that are not basic or essential will remain closed to the public from 14 March, initially for 15 days.

These include the city’s espais joves, infoJOVE services (which include 11 Barcelona infoJOVE points, 6 youth advisory services and 81JIP – “Jove, informa’t i participa – Points”), Adolescents and Families Service, 9 study rooms and Dedeuauna service.

All the activities programmed for young people are also suspended, including the Barcelona VisualSound and Rough Diamonds festivals and the academic guidance campaign In-forma’t. In addition, the participation of many services for young people at the Youth Employment Fair during the Work and Training Week, which also included the Education Fair and Future Fair, has also been postponed.

However, while this extraordinary situation continues, the youth professionals will continue to be with you more than ever, remotely!

Remote contact with Barcelona’s infoJOVE services

As always, you’ll have the whole youth information and advice team in Barcelona at your service but working from home now. So, you stay at home but not your questions! 

Don’t worry your head over them, send us your queries on academic matters (what to study or where to study, university entrance exams, online courses, etc.), work or business questions (workers’ rights, redundancies, forced holidays, working at home, financial help for freelancers, etc.), housing (relations with flatmates or neighbours, paying your rent or mortgage, etc.), international mobility (what can you do if you’ve paid for a stay abroad, what is the situation with mobility programmes, etc.) or any other matter (emotional management, sexuality, culture, associations, and so on).

You can contact the infoJOVE services from Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm, and on Fridays, from 10 am to 3 pm:

Given the extraordinary situation we’re going through, the support of the academic and work advisory services in particular will be stepped up because these are the areas that generate the most worries among young people. If you had an advice session booked with any of these two services or the services specialising in associations, setting up a business, shared housing or international mobility, the specialist team will contact you shortly, by phone or email, to answer your question.

If you want to book an appointment with any of the six advisory services, request one by contacting the Barcelona PIJs. The advisers will answer you by sending an email to the address you provide.

Remote contact with the Adolescents and Families Service

Have you got any queries about how to manage your time during your confinement? Are you worried because the classes have been interrupted? How are family relations these days?

At a time when we’ll all have to look for more spaces to chat and express our feelings, when we’ll need a lot of patience and to be creative in our family relations and communication, “Aquí t’escoltem” (Here we listen to you) and the Adolescents and Families Centre, which make up the Adolescents and Families Service (SAIF), are still listening to your anxieties from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 1 pm and 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm, and on Fridays, 10 am to 1.30 pm:
