Psychologists, educators and information officers have worked with the various services where new telephone lines, WhatsApp channels and websites have been set up for dealing with the needs arising from the emergency healthcare situation.

Half of the cases of assistance were for groups and the other half for individuals.

More training and activities

The organisation of Twitter-account workshops by Barcelona City Council’s Department of Youth, @bcn_joventut, has strengthened training and advice on a variety of subjects of interest for young people, such as educational guidance, conflict management, records of temporary employment regulation (ERTOs) and managing fear and love.

In addition, the extra range of activities on offer over the summer included two hundred activities held in July, which 1,500 people took part in, as well as other activities that are still on.

You will find full information on the Department of Youth’s services from the barcelona.cat/joventut website.
