The 42nd El Corte Inglés Fun Run has been postponed
The 42nd El Corte Inglés Fun Run, which was originally planned for this coming 19 April, has been postponed. This is the decision that has been taken by the race’s organisers in response to the recommendations from the authorities in charge of health and safety regarding big sports events.
The Fun Run, the city’s most egalitarian race, is one of the world’s most important athletics events, noted for its cross-cutting nature, where runners of all ages are welcome. It is precisely because of this festive and popular aspect to it that it has such a high percentage of groups at risk and that this measure has to be taken.
The organisers do not want to put any of the participants’ health at risk, which is why it has decided to postpone the 42nd El Corte Inglés Fun Run, originally planned for 19 April this year.
