Activities at the village include a 360-degree photo booth recreating the ambience of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, light panels for people to put their reflexes to the test, a Scalextric competition and a pit-stop challenge.

For little ones there’s a children’s area with three sections, activities such as a workshop to make cardboard helmets, plus a pedalling circuit and a recreation area with shade. Visitors can also enjoy one of the experiences that travel with the world championship caravan, such as an e-sports zone with official simulators, a replica podium and the F1 Blast Lane, to get the same sensations as drivers in wind tunnels.

The village also features a stage for small concerts, DJ performances and activities such as the “Fàbrega Lección”, with Albert Fàbrega, F1 commentator and analyst for DAZN, and a round table to talk about F1 and sustainability, moderated by the journalist Lluís Merlos (Tuesday 29 at 6 pm). The fan zone also includes freestyle rappers and there’s a marching band, plus performances from cultural groups in Catalonia such as human towers groups, giants and bighead figures.

The Formula 1 Barcelona Village will be open to the public from 12 noon to 8 pm from Friday 26 May to Sunday 28; from 3 pm to 8 pm from Monday 29 May to Thursday 1 June, and from 12 noon to 8 pm on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 June.
