Networking session for professionals and entrepreneurs from Brazil in Barcelona

The Brazilian professional and entrepreneurial community in the Barcelona area is becoming increasingly numerous and with firmer roots. For the purposes of strengthening these links between the community and the city even further, we are inviting Brazilian professionals and entrepreneurs to this networking event, which has been organised jointly with the Brazilian Consulate General in Barcelona.

The first part of the event will consist of a presentation of resources and services by Barcelona City Council and the economic development agency, Barcelona Activa, for the Brazilian professional and entrepreneurial community. Several initiatives and projects launched by the Brazilian Consulate General will also be presented.

The next part will feature accounts from Brazilian entrepreneurs who have established themselves successfully in Barcelona. The event will be rounded off in a dynamic networking session involving all the event’s participants and attendees.

PROGRAMME

First part:   BARCELONA, A FAVOURABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR BRAZILIAN ENTERPRISES AND PROFESSIONALS

10 am - 10.15 am   Welcome and presentation, by Mr Pau Solanilla, the Commissioner for City Promotion at Barcelona City Council, and His Excellency Ambassador Clemente de Lima Baena Soares, the Brazilian Consul General in Barcelona.

10.15 am - 10.30 am     Barcelona International Welcome: resources and services for the Brazilian community in Barcelona, by Judith Romera, the Head of International Talent Resources and Support at Barcelona City Council.

10.30 am - 10.45 am     Barcelona Activa’s resources for Brazilian entrepreneurs and professionals, by Marc Sans, a City Promotion officer at Barcelona City Council.

Second part: NETWORKING SESSION

10.45 am – 11.15 am     Success stories from members of the Brazilian community in Barcelona:
