Wellbeing as an expat in the age of coronavirus: What can we learn from our own cultural adaptation processes to better cope?
As an expat, you probably experienced the need for cognitive, behavioral and emotional adaptations to be able to navigate the new realities that your international move to Barcelona faced you with. Dealing with the unknown, reframing your narrative, leading your emotional experience, feeling strongly about your values, nurturing meaningful connections with others while apart, redefining routines and rituals, working on your resilience… I’m betting these challenges already sound familiar to you.
During this workshop, we will explore how the adaptation processes you went through and the tools you most certainly developed as a result of your international transition can be powerful resources to help you cope effectively with these challenging coronavirus times.
The seminar will be lead by Claudia Issa, Intercultural Trainer and D&I Consultant.
