Interculturality. The new plan adapts the city’s interculturality projects to the reality of the city in 2021, a decade after the previous plan was approved.
Education. Over a thousand students from eighteen centres take part in the second edition of the STEAM - Fòrum.
Culture and free time. The second edition is on from 8 to 13 June, offering over 250 activities and involving more than 300 speakers.
Environment and sustainability. The power company has helped achieve savings of 1.3 million euros in power costs and 100,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions in the city in that time.
Free time. The funicular railway has been transformed into the Cuca de Llum (firefly), offering access to the park through a three-minute panoramic journey.
Commerce. The BCN Retail Lab is launched to personalise the digitalisation of commercial establishments.
Culture and free time. Presentation of the document developing the Barcelona Science Plan 2020-2023, devoted to the international projection of the city’s science model.
Environment and sustainability. A team of staff to provide information, control access points and coordinate operations will be on duty from 10 am to 7 pm, ensuring no build-ups of people and compliance with prevention measures.
Childhood. Applications can be submitted online up until 19 May.
Science. Recent months have seen the City Council promote a process of debate, participation and proposals, resulting in 25 measures to adapt the plan to the current context.
