The date for the 6th edition of the Barcelona International Community Day has been announced. The event, which is now a very important meeting point for the international community, will take place on Saturday October 26 at the Maritime Museum of Barcelona.
Barcelona International Community Day, promoted by Barcelona City Council, reaches its 6th edition this year and keeps working to offer information and useful resources to expats, so that they feel at home and become new Barcelonians.
This year, the meeting will take place on the last weekend of October – specifically, on Saturday 26 – at the Maritime Museum of Barcelona and it will feature an exhibitors’ area, conferences, discussion boards, several networking activities and entertainment and animation.
The goal of this event is to create a meeting point for the international community of Barcelona, both for the people that have just arrived and the ones that are already established, and to be the space where to discover everything the city has to offer. Newcomers will find resources that will help their integration in the city, information, services and the possibility of expanding their professional opportunities.
That is why the Barcelona ICD revolves around four main topics: personal landing in the Catalan capital, making new contacts, working and doing business and how to enjoy the city to the fullest.
In addition, there is an exhibition fair with companies, entities and associations related to international talent in the city and, to date, more than 70 stands have already been confirmed.
The Barcelona ICD has been held since 2014, and the first edition ended with 2,600 attendees from 50 countries. In the 2018 edition, the record number of 5,000 visitors was almost reached, with people from 135 different countries.
Attending the Barcelona International Community Day allows you to participate in several free activities but it requires prior registration through the form you’ll find on the website.
