"Anna Ferrer" Concert

Songs from times gone by are broken down and put together again by a Menorcan artist who demystifies folk music and makes it universal while taking musical traditions into new and uncharted territory shaped by synthesisers.

Maybe you first discovered her on albums such as Tel·lúria (2017) or Krönia (2019), featuring collaborations with artists such as Marco Mezquida, Eliseo Parra, Clara Peya, Sílvia Pérez Cruz and Clara Fiol, or earlier, when she was a vocalist with the Orquestra de Músiques d’Arrel de Catalunya (OMAC) and Coetus. This is an artist who’s reworked all the conventions of jotas, boleros and romanços and has redeemed them over the years. The result was Parenòstic, a solo live album released in 2021 and directed by Niño de Elche, which toured London, Morocco, Italy and Peru with over fifty concerts.The album, with the same title, has been released this year
