What happens when classical music is combined with improvisation and electronic sequences focused on specific frequencies? Following the structure of ASIA X and Teenage Bliss (the foundational shows that inspired this work), the performance includes an overture and four acts, and is performed by a local, all-female ensemble comprising violin, cello, four-part choir, harp, and a communion of frequencies. This is a dreamlike, introspective piece that takes the audience on a journey through mysterious soundscapes— some dark, others more luminous. Leading the way is a violin that takes on the role of main voice, a diva soprano. ASIA is a violinist with an extensive international trajectory. She began her training at the Conservatori del Liceu at the age of 4 and later studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Royal College of Music, among others. She is co-founder of the Trio Casablancas.
