One music tradition at La Mercè is presenting the concert that opens the Palau de la Generalitat’s season of Carillon concerts, featuring a beautiful instrument that is handled with the utmost skill by the bell player Anna Mari Reverté (who is internationally renowned in her field!). The concert programme features a series of pieces that suggest a festive journey through time, taking us from the Baroque to the twentieth century. Rebel, Vivaldi, Father Antoni Soler, Enric Morera and Ricard Lamote de Grignon are just some of the composers who we’ll hear, their music adapted to the carillon.
