"ESMUC Band / RNCM Band" Concert

With Manchester as the guest city at La Mercè 2025, the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya is presenting a show that connects the two cities through music. Students from the jazz programmes at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and Manchester’s Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) will perform a three-part concert. The first two parts will be performed by an ensemble from each of the two schools, followed by a final joint performance by the members of both ensembles, who will have worked together at ESMUC in the days leading up to the concert. All in all, a great opportunity to enjoy emerging talent from music schools in both countries and take in the sounds of twenty-first-century jazz played by the musicians of the future.
