Faraonix, a Barcelona-based drag king, will be the master of ceremonies for the macro-show Glam canalla. Nits a Nord (Rough glam. Nights in the Nord) offered in the Nord Station Park in the evening hours. 

This show of shows will fill the premises with fun, uninhibited artists who want you to have fun in the night-time programme of the Nord Station Park. Through the transformative power of drag king performance, Faraonix will guide us through all the artistic acts lighting up the stage that evening. After all, drag is not only spectacle; it’s also identity, memory and will continue to be a living impression of the city. 

Come and discover the artistic persona of Marta Aran, an actress, director and playwright who won the Max Prize for Best New Author in 2020. She describes this alter ego as ‘performing hegemonic masculinity through parody and critique’. Believe her – she knows what she’s talking about.

Faraonix King will be the magnetic MC for the night, with Jèssica Hernández and Gustavo Terpsicor as dancers; and Mon Chéri, Drag King Don Amor, Klamy GoSy and Gaia Umbra as guest drag performers. Choreography by Gustavo Terpsicor. Shine on!
