Located in the heart of Montjuïc, Poble Espanyol is a unique venue that brings together the architectural, cultural, craft and gastronomic richness of the entire Iberian Peninsula in one place. Opened in 1929, its streets and squares replicate representative constructions from across Spain, offering an open-air setting that invites you to stroll and explore. Throughout the year, Poble Espanyol hosts activities for all ages: live artisan workshops, a contemporary art museum with works by great artists such as Picasso, Dalí and Miró, temporary exhibitions, and a wide range of gastronomy.

To celebrate La Mercè, Poble Espanyol will open its doors to all Barcelona residents to join the city’s main festival — a special opportunity to enjoy the site and experience its unique charm. Admission will be free for residents of the city of Barcelona. Proof of residence will be required, and tickets must be downloaded in advance from our website.
