RE. is a dance theatre piece created and performed by Nadine Gerspacher and Arias Fernández which combines theatre, contemporary dance and krumping , an urban dance style characterized by free, highly energetic, expressive, often exaggerated, and always radical movement.

With an imaginary that is sometimes subtle, sometimes extreme, RE. leads the audience through oppressive and liberating moments, from apparently hopeless situations to unexpected solutions. Behind a minimalist approach lies an intense creative world which shines a spotlight on emotions: in RE., this artistic duo explore the polarities of a deeply divided society.

Nadine Gerspacher has worked with various international companies, an experience that she transmits to new generations of performers through her project Free3 Bodies. In RE. she works alongside Arias Fernández, a.k.a. Arias Joker, the main proponent of krumping in Spain, known all over for his contribution to urban culture.

With original music by Josep Maria Baldomà and dramaturgy by Anna Castells, RE. offers us the chance to discover this dance form with a strong social component, born on the streets of Los Angeles. A real urban phenomenon.
