VoloV embraces the language of the circus, live music and dance, through a physical and dynamic show that is both poetic and energetic. A powerful performance from both an aesthetic and acrobatic point of view. Six performers – two musicians and four aerial acrobats and dancers – interpret this adaptation of the classic The Birds by Aristophanes, which tells the story of two travellers fleeing Athens, typical of the constant disputes in which its rulers engage. The pair of fugitive seeks a happy, just and free world, where harmony and peace reign. A world they will find in the clouds, halfway between that of humans and that of the gods.

The double trapeze, the flying rope and the smooth rope are the main circus techniques of VoloV—hybrid disciplines enriched by movement, music and dance. Recognised with the Zirkòlika Award for the best street show and the prize awarded at the Fira de Castella i Lleó, VoloV is a creation of the TQM Collective, made up of artists from circus, music and dance who are united by their love of their profession and their artistic interests.
