La Belle Roue: Le manège écolo rigolo (France; Big wheel; For all ages).
The most popular fun fairs in the world have a new rival: Passeig dels Til·lers in Parc de la Ciutadella. Because there you will find, as well as acrobats performing and a carousel, a six-metre-tall Ferris wheel. An environmentally-friendly wheel fuelled only by arm power. 100% muscular energy!
This new attraction, called La Belle Roue, is made of wood and is truly intergenerational. In other words, it can be enjoyed by people of all ages (up to sixteen at once). L’Art des Show, the company that created the proposal, likes to refer to the wheel as a ‘fun, environmentally friendly carousel’, but there are plenty of other definitions of it: ‘the attraction you simply cannot miss’, ‘a magical wheel’... Take your place and have a wheel of a time!
