Have you ever been on the other side of the curtain? Al otro lado [On the other side] gives you the chance to do just that! A portable theatre curtain will reveal hidden stories about the everyday life on our streets: on the one side are the spectators, and on the other, the involuntary actors in a real-life show that takes shape, little by little, with humour and irony.
Al otro ladois a simple device that captures unsuspecting pedestrians, portraying them in a lucid and playful way. An ingenious concept that bears the hallmark of Zanguango Teatro, a company that bases its work on collective creation and uses space as a tool for dramatic action. Their shows aim to depict human behaviour in all its forms, seeking out the magical, disconcerting and fun side of the most mundane, familiar situations. Without artifices or tricks, connecting directly with the spectator.
