Sandbox is a large-scale interactive installation comprised of two trays of sand on which small projections of the people that are in the same floorspace can be seen. When the participants try to touch these little phantoms, a camera detects their hands and re-transmits the live images to two of the brightest projectors in the world hung from a hoist, projecting the hands onto the ground in enormous dimensions.
