The party wall at Plaça Castella forms a horizon that separates the sky from the earth, becoming the canvas for an installation created by the International University of Catalonia that explores and plays with the concepts of time and infinity. Respecting the residents’ central windows, the project focuses on the sides of the façade, creating a dialogue between urban life and the artificial sky.

Above this horizon, a simulated sea reflects the immensity of the sky, amplifying the sense of space in the square. In this setting, the Sun and the Moon follow their paths: a warm light descends, evoking the calm of dusk, while the Earth’s satellite moves slowly and changes shape in a perpetual cycle.

The installation thus creates a fictional infinity where time flows at a different pace, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a contemplation where endings merge with beginnings in a never-ending loop.
