Medical specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health, senior technician in Occupational Risk Prevention and PhD in Biomedical Research Methodology and Public Health. 

Currently, she serves as Head of the Health and Work Service at the Barcelona Public Health Agency and as an associate lecturer at Pompeu Fabra University. She is also a researcher at the Biomedical Research Networking Centre in Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP) and at the Biomedical Research Institute of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (IIB Sant Pau).
