Professor of Political Science at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), researcher at the Institute of Government and Public Policy and member of the Research Group on Urban Governance, Commons, Internet and Social Innovation (URGOCIS). 

Noteworthy among his most recent books are El municipalisme del bé comú [The municipalism of the common good] (Icaria editorial, 2016, with Ricard Gomà) and Barrios y crisis. Crisis económica, segregación urbana e innovación social en Cataluña [Neighbourhoods and crisis. Economic crisis, urban segregation and social innovation in Catalonia] (Tirant, 2018, coordinated with Oriol Nel·lo).
