Barcelona, 1943. Having studied theatre direction at the Adrià Gual School of Dramatic Art, she trained as a photojournalist in London and Paris.
She settled in Barcelona in 1968, where she has worked for the printed publications Serra d’Or, Destino, Triunfo, El País, Fotogramas, Cambio 16 and TVE [the national state-owned public-service television broadcaster in Spain]. She has published more than twenty books on Montserrat Roig, Maria Aurèlia Capmany, Frederica Montseny and Mercè Rodoreda, among others.
