Paper dreams. The collection of trading cards
Paper dreams. The collection of trading cards
The Museum proposes a itinerary through 12 outstanding cards in some of the rooms of the Collector's cabinet . The selection allows us to explain the appearance of these cardboard or collectible papers in the last third of the 19th century in Europe and America and how they became an effective and very popular advertising tool that attracted people of all ages and from various social classes.
The trading cards were used by all kinds of companies or businesses as advertising and were distributed in the form of collections of all kinds of themes, generating a true collecting passion that has remained alive to this day.
