Squares, streets and markets are presenting a series of open-air concerts to fill the city with music from 12 December to 4 January. A total of 45 concerts will cover a wide range of styles, from jazz to rumba, urban music, folk, pop, opera and classical. 

The performers will be artists and ensembles chosen by fourteen leading players in Barcelona’s music scene: Terrats en Cultura, Say it Loud, Jazz I AM, L’Hora del Jazz, Plataforma per la Rumba, Casa de la Música, Fabra i Coats, Festival B, the Conservatori del Liceu, the ESEM Taller de Músics, the ESMUC, Jam Session, the Fundació Victòria dels Àngels and the Fundació Òpera Catalunya. 

Take a look at the programme and save the dates for the performances near you. All the concerts are at 12 noon and 6 pm, from 12 December to 4 January, with particularly busy days such as 20 December, with 15 performances, and 3 January, with 14.

On 20 and 21 December, ten concerts by artists and ensembles will be preceded by children’s choirs from Barcelona (members of the Secretariat de Corals Infantils de Catalunya) performing the Barcelona Christmas carol, Un cor que batega, along with other pieces from their repertoire.
