Finestres al barri is a design that pays homage to the spirit of the neighbourhood and is inspired by comics and the kawaii pop aesthetic. The section that connects Arc de Triomf with Plaça de Tetuan is home to numerous shops specialising in comics, fantasy and collectables, and has a marked Asian influence, both due to its local community and the shops dedicated to East Asian culture.
The installation is composed of two main elements: the illuminated vines and the clouds of icons, which evoke both the comic book universe and Christmas iconography. Their arrangement at different angles creates a shifting that changes depending on the perspective and invites pedestrians to look up and interact with their surroundings.
Brosmind
Brosmind is the multidisciplinary project founded by brothers Juan and Alejandro Mingarro. Designers, illustrators, electronics enthusiasts, video fans and occasional musicians: from their studio in Barcelona, they explore all these facets through commercial commissions, installations, personal projects and exhibitions. Brosmind's style is known for its sense of humour, vibrant use of colour, attention to detail, and strong DIY spirit.
