Gift cards
The gift cards are intended to boost local commerce and recognise regular customers in neighbourhood establishments.
If you do your shopping in neighbourhood establishments or the city’s markets this Christmas, you’ll receive ‘Barcelona Commerce Christmas Scratchcards’, with a chance at a string of prizes. In all, 600,000 scratchcards have been distributed, and 20,433 of them have a gift for you!
With the support of Barcelona City Council, the city’s commercial establishments and markets have organised a gift card campaign to promote shopping in local establishments in the city. The initiative is intended as a way of recognising regular customers in neighbourhood establishments.
Of the 600,000 cards distributed equally around the whole city, 20,432 contain prizes for people to enjoy culture, sports, restaurants and leisure in Barcelona. At the same time, all of the cards include a code for people to download the Barcelona Christmas song, by the singer and composer Paula Valls. An upbeat song, full of hope, positive spirit and bags of energy.

Wine glass collection points
Wine glasses can be collected from 29 December 2020 to 30 January 2021 from the points indicated below:
- Mercat de la Boqueria, La Rambla, 89. At the information point. From Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 2 pm.
- Mercat de Provençals, c/ Menorca, 19. At the information point. From Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 2 pm, and Fridays, from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
- Mercat de Sants, c/ Sant Jordi, 6. At the information point. From Tuesday to Friday, 9.00 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. Saturday, from 9.00 am to 2 pm.
- Mercat de la Concepció, c/ Aragó, 311. Les Garrigues Colors i Emocions, stall 172-177. From Tuesday to Friday, 9.30 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. Saturday, from 9.00 am to 2 pm.
- Mercat del Poblenou, pl. Unió, 25. La Fruita del Mercat (stall 31), Polleria Mari (stall 23), Carnisseria Mari (stall 29). From Tuesday to Friday, 9.00 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. Monday, from 9.00 am to 2 pm.
- Mercat de l’Estrella, c/ Pi i Margall, 73-75. L’Olivera, 96- 96. From Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 2 pm, and Fridays, from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
- Barcelona Municipal Institute of Markets, c/ Gran de Sant Andreu, 200. From Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 18.00 pm.
